This is the second in a series of short films that will follow the artists and craftsmen at Lightworks throughout the process of designing and producing a new large scale bespoke commission. The piece is to feature Neptune, the God of The Sea and has been commissioned by a private client for their seafront residence on the north-west coast of England. This video focuses on the intermediate stage of the design process where consideration is given to both the colour and tonality of the scaled design.

The next installment will continue to look at the development of the design and upscaling to a full size working pattern or cartoon.
