Grade II listed Bullhouse Chapel is the oldest independent non-conformist chapel with continuous worship in the country. On the 18th April 1692 the chapel was opened as a place of worship for a congregation of Protestant Dissenters. The first minister was Rev. David Denton, who was said to have a congregation of 200. The chapel is located at Millhouse Green near Sheffield.
Lightworks were contracted as a specialist sub-contractor to carry out the re-glazing of this 6 light west elevation window on behalf of Restoration UK and English Heritage. The window had previously been re-glazed unsympathetically with float glass in timber frames which had begun to rot. These were removed and replaced with simple rectangular leaded panels and traditional steel hopper opening casements.
