Not everything we produce here at Lightworks is on a grand scale or destined for a church or architectural setting. This small bespoke panel of stained glass, christened in the studio with the working title “The Funky W”, was designed by Lightworks artists Abi. The piece was commissioned by a client based in London as a 70th Birthday gift for a friend named Wendy and was produced using a mixture of beautiful hand made, mouth-blown cylinder glass.

Relatively quick and cost effective to produce, small panels of stained glass such as this can be hung in a window (this particular example was supplied with a hanging kit), or placed on a window sill and make a superb and personalised gift for any special occasion.

On receiveing the panel our client simply had this to say:

“It’s gloriously lovely, I love it!!!  The reflections it casts are beautiful! Thank you so much!”
