Traditional Design
The term traditional stained glass is generally used to describe work of a particular period or artistic movement, or of work produced in a style associated with a particular period or movement. Some of the more productive periods or movements in traditional stained glass include the Victorian, Georgian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and a great deal of this work can still be seen today, in its original form, adorning both private and public buildings the length and breadth of the country
In addition to the repair and restoration of existing glass, much of our traditional stained glass work is commissioned as one-off pieces, or as a series of pieces for clients who wish to create an authentic focal point or historically correct installation for a home or building of a particular age. In addition to this, and drawing on a vast range of high quality, authentic materials, we are able to produce replica work to match traditional stained glass a client may already possess, paying particular attention to the originals designs, colours and materials.
