This is a project we completed towards the end of 2017. Our client, based in beautiful Yorkshire Moors town of Pateley Bridge, was keen to replace the unsightly, light limiting and badly leaking timber casement windows in his properties master bedroom with traditional lead lights.
The diamond pattern and distinctive amber border of English Muffle glass was used to match existing lead lights situated elsewhere within the building. We also supplied a number of bespoke metal opening casement frames manufactured to our own specification including CNC cut handle back-plates, again to match the design of existing casements found elsewhere within the property.
We produced and installed 10 lights in total along with three opening casements. The third of which, situated within the en-suite bathroom, was designed and produced to take an encapsulated leaded light within a double glazed unit.
Our images show internal shots of the five light window after completion, prior to works and deglazed and an external shot of the four light window after completion.
