Gallery 1: St. Oswald/Diamond Jubilee Commission

This new commission for a small Parish Church in North Yorkshire was designed, produced and installed by Lightworks. Featuring the 7th Century warrior King, St. Oswald, to whom the churches chapel is dedicated, and also a visual reference to the Holy Well within its grounds, the window was commissioned to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee.  Situated on the churches North elevation, of key importance within             the brief was to ensure that plenty of natural light was still allowed to filter through, hence the large area’s of clear un-painted reamy glass.
