Artistic Collaboration Between Lightworks & Matthew Alderman Studio’s Bares Fruit with First Order

Having set up a collaborative effort between Lightworks and Matthew Alderman Studio’s around four years ago, we are incredibly excited to be able to announce our venture has taken it’s very first transatlantic order!

Based on a set of seven detailed illustrations produced by Matthew at his studio in Concord, Massachusetts, the illustrations, feature The Immaculate Heart and a number of heraldic style symbols. Each is to be transposed into a small stained glass panel by Lightworks and will be executed in a selection of mouth-blown cylinder glass incorporating the use of both hand painted and kiln fired detailing and acid etching. On completion they will be shipped out to our client at The Church of St. Stephen in Minneapolis where each will be incorporated into a new doorway to the churches chapel.

Out images show Matthews set of seven original draft illustrations which include or refer to Cana, the Magnificat, The Immaculate Heart, a Scroll, a Violet, Sedes Sapientiae (The Throne of Wisdom) and a Yoke.
